2024 was a milestone year at Tendable.

With thousands of unique inspectors, millions of inspections, and an enormous amount of data analysed, Tendable proved to be an indispensable tool for healthcare providers across the globe seeking to improve their care quality, and highlight and use data to drive decision making.

We’ve collated a few key stats to give you a flavour of how Tendable was used across four continents throughout 2024.

Saving 2,833 Days: Efficiency at Its Best

We’ve helped front-line nurses and healthcare professionals save over 2,833 days by inspecting using Tendable instead of paper-based processes. This massive saving has allowed teams to focus on what mattered most: delivering exceptional quality of care to support positive outcomes.

A Growing Community of Experts

In 2024, we saw over 35,000 unique inspectors engage with the platform. This massive participation is a clear indicator of how quality improvement can be democratised, and built-in to health professional’s daily tasks, instead of as a standalone remit of a central quality team.

Tendable’s mobile-first inspection application empowers inspectors to conduct thorough and accurate inspections on the go. Whether inspecting equipment, facilities, or processes, these inspectors are able to collect and act on data more quickly than ever before.

A Record Volume of Inspections

In 2024, Tendable supported a staggering 1.4 million inspections - a testament to the platforms ability to scale with the needs of healthcare providers. Our ability to handle such a high volume of inspections without sacrificing speed or accuracy has been a key factor in our widespread adoption. Teams seamlessly schedule, execute, and analyse inspections quickly in compliance with regulations across the globe.

Thanks to Tendable’s digital nature, inspections were streamlined, and data was captured in real time. This allowed healthcare leaders to spot issues faster, address risks earlier, and optimize their inspection schedules for maximum efficiency.

Driving Insight Through Data

With 40 million questions answered in 2024, Tendable’s powerful data collection and analysis capabilities played a crucial role in shaping care quality decisions. Each question answered is an additional data point for healthcare leaders to gain deeper insight across their organisation to help make more informed choices, identify recurring issues, and pinpoint areas of improvement.

Through Tendable Analytics, this considerable amount of data is immediately digestible allowing teams to identify patterns and trends across inspections, building an ongoing picture of care quality across multiple sites and areas over time.

Enhancing Peer Collaboration

Collaboration is a key theme in the success of Tendable, and in 2024, 45% of areas benefited from at least one peer inspection. Peer inspections, where inspectors review each other's work, encourage accountability and ensure that inspection findings remain accurate. This collaborative approach fosters an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

By incorporating peer reviews organisations enhanced the quality of their inspections, reduced errors, and encouraged teamwork across departments. This peer-driven approach helped teams maintain high standards while also sharing best practices and improving their overall inspection processes.

Data-Driven Insights with Dashboards

Tendable’s dashboard capabilities were another highlight of 2024. Tendable Analytics saw over 100,000 dashboard views and 2,200+ custom dashboards built throughout the year. These dashboards provide real-time, actionable insights, allowing decision-makers to track progress, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

The ability to customise dashboards meant that users could tailor their data views to specific needs, KPIs, and priorities. As a result, organisations were able to improve oversight, optimize performance, and ensure that they were on track to meet their objectives.

Conclusion: A Game-Changer for Inspections

It’s safe to say we’re having a profound impact on healthcare organisation’s quality improvement activities. From 35,000 unique inspectors and 1.4 million inspections to saving 2,833 days and providing exceptionally detailed insights through 40 million questions answered, and we’re still only just getting started on our mission to improve quality of care using technology across the globe.

As we move into 2025, we’re continuing to bring additional and improved tools to support healthcare leaders in transforming the quality of care given, empowered by technology.
